Among the private operators taking visitors and cruise passengers along the Amalfi Coast, See Amalfi Coast Private Tours is the only one that behaves like a shop: 146 products with a price, a basket, a deposit and a voucher. If you hate haggling over WhatsApp, this listing is for you.
What it is
Two entities under the same brand. On one side an NCC registered in Naples, on via Torrione di San Martino, enrolled with the local chamber of commerce. On the other a travel agency registered in Sesto Fiorentino, in the province of Florence, with its own REA number and its own certified notice of commencement of business. The firm is a sole trader, in the same owner’s name.
The paperwork is the strongest we have found in this category. The footer declares a professional public liability policy with the insurer’s name and the policy number, an insolvency protection certificate and a decree from the Metropolitan City of Florence, downloadable as a PDF, qualifying the agency’s technical director. These are checks you normally have to ask for: here they are published.
The catalogue does not stop at Campania: there are tours in Lazio, Tuscany and Sicily, boat charters and tickets. The site also lists other brands belonging to the same group, covering local tours, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, which is worth knowing if you are comparing what you take to be rival firms.

The prices, for real
Here comes the figure no other Naples NCC publishes: the price moves with the number of passengers, because it takes in tickets and a guide. On the 8-hour Pompeii–Sorrento–Positano package, the list checked on the site reads as follows.
| Passengers | All-inclusive package price |
|---|---|
| 1 | €542 |
| 2 | €564 |
| 4 | €718 |
| 6 | €762 |
| 8 | €816 |
The price covers the archaeological site ticket, already booked and paid, a guide licensed by the Campania Region working in English, and pick-up wherever you are between Naples, Salerno, Amalfi and Sorrento, airport, station and port included. The versions without admissions and without a guide, shore excursions among them, sit between €350 and €560.
Payment goes through the basket, with a 40% deposit or the full amount. Every hour beyond the scheduled time costs €50 in cash to the driver: it is written on a dedicated legal page, not buried in a footnote.
The contradiction to settle
Two cancellation policies live side by side on the same site. The product listing shows, for Campania, a full refund beyond 48 hours and nothing within 48 hours or for a no-show; boat charters at 14 days; other Italian destinations at 7 days. A legal page headed Campania, on the other hand, gives a full refund only beyond seven days.
This is not a detail: five days of penalty hang between the two versions. Before you pay, get it in writing which rule appears on the voucher, because both pages close with the formula “unless otherwise stated on the voucher”.
How to check it before you pay
- Check that the voucher carries the cancellation policy itself, not just a cross-reference to the general conditions.
- Confirm that the guide is described as licensed by the Campania Region, and in which language: the standard package has it in English.
- If you are on a cruise, ask for the return to the port to be written as a time, not as “end of service”.
- Ask for confirmation of the exact pick-up: the booking form accepts far-flung areas too, from Civitavecchia to Tuscany, priced case by case.

The shared premium Sorrento–Positano–Amalfi tour costs €58.50 per person: €117 for two, €468 for eight. The See Amalfi Coast all-inclusive package costs €564 for two and €816 for eight, but inside it are a licensed guide and the Pompeii ticket, which the shared tour often lacks.
The honest sum works like this: to the group tour price add €20 a head for Pompeii admission and the cost of a guide, then compare. From six people up the gap narrows; for a couple the shared tour stays the rational choice. The full reasoning is in the Amalfi Coast in a day and on the private driver and NCC page.
The verdict
The most transparent in the category on licences, insurance and prices, with one blemish: two cancellation policies that do not match. Take it if you want to book from home with a voucher and a fixed price, and if a guide and tickets already included matter to you more than the discount.
If you only want the car and intend to negotiate, read the Amalfi Coast Private Driver review; for a per-vehicle price list without admissions, the Naples Private Driver review. The index is on the operators and platforms page.
Questions people ask
Is See Amalfi Coast an NCC or a travel agency?
Both. The footer declares an NCC registered in Naples on via Torrione di San Martino and a travel agency registered in Sesto Fiorentino, with separate REA numbers at the two chambers of commerce.
Can the licences be verified?
Yes. The site publishes the details of the agency’s certified notice of commencement of business and the decree from the Metropolitan City of Florence qualifying its technical director, along with a public liability policy and an insolvency protection certificate.
How much does an all-inclusive tour cost?
The 8-hour Pompeii–Sorrento–Positano package starts at €542 for one person and rises to €816 for eight, because it includes the archaeological site ticket, a guide licensed by the Campania Region and a private driver.
Are there tours without admissions and guide?
Yes, the tours and shore excursions from the port run between €350 and €560 depending on the itinerary and the number of passengers, with admissions and guide excluded or optional.
How do you pay?
Through the site’s basket, choosing between a 40% deposit and payment in full. Every hour beyond the scheduled time costs €50, paid in cash to the driver.
Which cancellation policy applies?
The product listing shows a full refund beyond 48 hours for Campania, while a dedicated legal page says seven days. Have it confirmed in writing which of the two appears on your voucher.
Why do I find the same service under different names?
The operator lists other brands of its own for local tours, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast: if you are comparing two sites that look like competitors, you may be looking at the same firm.
