On the supplier side the company states there is no cost to list an activity and a commission only on bookings that go through, at a rate that varies by country and is disclosed after you sign up, with monthly or twice-monthly payouts. That is why the agency in Pompeii you find in the shop window will often quote you the same price if you deal with it directly: the commission is already inside.

On Trustpilot the score is 3.9 out of 5 from more than 56,000 reviews. That is a figure about the platform, not about the individual Naples tour: for that you need the product ratings below.

The Naples catalogue in numbers

Of the 89 products, 86 carry a published rating, averaging 4.5 out of 5 across more than 176,000 reviews in total; 58 sit at 4.5 or above. Fifteen cost up to €20, ten go over €100.

The most reviewed is the Napoli Sotterranea tour at €18, with 4.4 and over 25,000 reviews. The highest ratings with real volume behind them are the food ones: the walking tour with a local guide at €42 (4.9 from 5,769 reviews), the pizza and tiramisù class at €25 (4.9 from 1,592) and the spritz tour at €39 (4.9 from 1,564). On day trips the benchmark product is still Pompeii and Vesuvius with lunch at €48.75, on 4.8 from more than 9,000 reviews, and the premium run to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi at €58.50, on 4.8 from more than 18,000.

The weak spots are the passes: the Artecard sold on the platform sits at 3.0 from 791 reviews, the three-day city pass at 3.2 from 763, the hop-on hop-off bus at 3.4. On those three the official channel is almost always the better buy, and the comparison is in tickets and passes.

Voucher, cancellation and support

The confirmation arrives as a digital voucher with a code; the exact meeting point is on the voucher. Support is the platform’s, not the agency’s: that is the concrete advantage when the day depends on the sea or on a train.

On cancellation the general terms set a fallback rule: unless the activity listing, the supplier’s conditions or the voucher say otherwise, cancelling more than 24 hours before the start gets you a full refund, while inside 24 hours, or if you simply do not turn up, there is none. The window that counts, though, is the one stated on the individual activity, and our product data does not carry it for this platform. Where the official channel wins

Three cases in which booking elsewhere costs less, or is the only way.

On Vesuvius the difference is the point that wrecks the most days out: the €16 on the platform buys the booking and the digital guide, not a shortcut past the time bands, which stay the park’s. How to check before you pay

Four lines on the listing, in this order: real duration, which entrance is included, group size, name of the operator. Price comes after. Two products with the same title can differ by three hours of visiting and by one included entrance.

Then look at the number of reviews, not just the average: a 5.0 from two reviews, like the Posillipo panoramic run, says far less than a 4.7 from two thousand. And if you buy a private tour, remember the price is per group.

What to keep in mind

In Naples this platform does two things well: the guide-plus-transport package for trips out of town, and the food tours in the city, where the ratings are the highest in the catalogue. It does passes and bare museum tickets badly, and there you pay a premium for nothing.
